The mrs. and I ate our last meal of our trip in WDW on Easter Sunday and we had ressies at Chef Mickey's.

The food was absolutely dreadful. I mean really awful. We usually eat at Chef Mickey's twice a year and love it, but this time, it was just bad. Everything was bad. Even the mac and cheese in the kids section was watery and tasteless. The chicken tenders were worse then Mcdonalds, the carving board was bland, the mashed potatos tasted like some one dumped a gallon of salt in there.

I really don't know what happened this time. We're also ont he Disney Dining Experience and they wouldn't honor it because it was Easter Sunday. I normally wouldn't mind but I'm upset because they jacked up the price for the holiday. Really made me upset with Disney to end the trip on such a sour note.

I also don't know if the food seemed so bad because the two nights before we had "Le Cellier" and "California Grill", but Chef Mickey's really disappointed. Any one else notice a decline in Chef Mickey's lately or what? We at there in July and in November and both times we enjoyed it.

We were there in November also and really liked it a lot. Perhaps because of the crazy week they had an off night?

Chef Mickey's for us has been hit or miss. Last June the food was horrible. So bad we were sick to our stomachs after the meal.

The kids made us go back in Nov and we surprisingly enjoyed it. Perhaps because DH and I were thinking the worst.:rotfl:

This trip DH asked to skip it. But the kids wanna go back, so we're compromising with breakfast. ;)

We were there a couple of weeks ago and thought it had IMPROVED tremendously. We always go for breakfast. The food was great, and character interaction was a million times better than it had been in the past. They actually have a CM there to make sure each character visits your table in a timely manner. We were in and out (and full) much faster than in the past. :thumbsup2
