Is California Adventure a must?

Too bad about F! We're not huge fans of cars and Toy Story and such, but I'm sure the kids would enjoy it. I did consider getting hoppers for that day. We're doing one day at Universal and that's the one I'm most excited about! Harry Potter + Shrek + Minions = my favorite!

I would come with realistic expectations about USH. It's a lot smaller than the one in FL and jam packed with people. Once HP opens it will be even more crowded and still not have enough to fill a whole day.

We actually spend more time in CA than DL on many of our trips. It's not a side show to DL by any stretch - I think you would be really selling your trip short if you avoided it.

Agree by 1000000% lol On our last trip in October we spent more time at DCA than DL. I think *gasp* I like DCA more than DL now.
