We’ve stayed at DH and loved it. We haven’t stayed at PP. Price difference is a total of $300 more at DH.
-Traveling with 2 teens and a 4 yr old (5 total in room)
-Definitely planning on pool time

Which would you choose!?

Disneyland Hotel for sure. You’ll have more dining options close by as opposed to Pixar Place, which has some not too amazing dining locations onsite. Proximity to the parks will also be key if you plan to spend any offsite breaks in the pools…

Since you’re planning on pool time, I would lean to DLH especially since it’s not a ton more money than PPH.

We stayed at PPH last July and loved it. Our favorite part of the trip was taking a break and getting food from the pool bar. The food was really good! We were told it wasn’t from great maple. We had wonderful service too. We loved the room and the space but the elevators there are still an issue. We had EE daily and went early. One day we left about ten minutes later than usual and waited forever for an elevator. I wish they would have addressed the elevator issue during the remodel. Otherwise, we loved our stay! It is really hard to beat the ambiance of the DLH pool though.
