My husband is part German too, and his mother was taught to cook by their German landlady, so he grew up eating German food. He really liked the Biergarten when we were in WDW last January.
is a must do for our group. We all love the food (mmmm, schnitzel and spatzel with hunters gravy.....mmmmm - sorry if i hacked the spelling) and the show is a good time. raise your mug and sing along. don't miss the bell guys, they are a hoot!
You're shy? I doubt that! Remember how much you loved to voice your views on the CB?
The food is good (buffet), the beer is good (by the litre or half?), the entertainment is fun (how often do you get to see an umpa band?). Just don't talk to the people next to you if you don't want to - but part of the the fun of Disney is meeting new people, right?
I had a great time playing with a family from North Carolina who really truly though all Canadians lived in 5 feet of snow year round! I told them about how I walk my polar bed after I slide out my 2nd story window because I don't have a front door. I also got them to believe that was my first time drinking beer because all we have is "ice wine".
We love love love the Biergarten. The food is really good (and we're a little picky) The entertainment is great, especially if you have kids. They can get up and do the chicken dance on the dance floor and just have a great time. We just love watching the band. We won't make a trip to DW without going to Biergarten.
