I am finding conflicting info on this place. One place shows it as a quick service and the other a table service. I do see when you cant make reservations. Does anyone know which it is??
The Beaches N Cream Restaurant is a TS. It's small with not too many tables so there are times when the wait can be quite long. The menu is limited, but there are some specialty sundaes that are extremely popular.
There is an outside "To Go" window that takes snack credits for ice cream cones, milk shakes, etc. It doesn't have the specialty sundaes. Could this have been what you read as CS?

On the WDW website under Where To Eat...Quick Service....it lists Beaches N Cream. And if you go under that same tab and select 2012 Dining Plan, it lists it as table service with no reservations. Someone had mentioned to my friend that it was a neat place to eat lunch but we were confused as to which it was. I'll have to check out the menu and prices.
The actual Beaches and Cream "restaurant" (it's pretty small), is a TS service. It has waiter service and it uses TS credits on the DDP. The Beaches and Cream Window is a QS. It has ice creams to go. You can use a snack credit for the single-scoops. I think that's where the confusion comes from - there's both a TS restaurant and a QS to-go snack window.
Yes a TS (we eat here alot). The counter has a QS ice cream only. There are a couple of snack options, but the bigger ice cream choices are not snack options. They do not serve any "food" at the counter to go section.
As mentioned, not really worth a dining credit, but the ice choices are great. Only the kitchen sink is excluded from the ddp.
There's nothing at the takeout window you can use QS credits for, as they don't serve any food there. You can use a snack credit for a single ice cream scoop, or an ice cream sandwich, or a beverage.

I didn't think snack credits could be used for milk shakes?? In an earlier thread someone posted a photo of the B&C take out window and the only items with the snack designation symbol were the single ice cream cones, bowls and beverages, as I remember..
