I work for Barnes & Noble, so I’ve ordered one for myself.
I'm also seeing this. I've had several books pre-ordered over the past year or so that were delayed by either a few weeks, to several months.Book supply chains are pretty delayed right now, so it's not just this book -
Barnes & Noble site said my closest store had copies, so I stopped by yesterday afternoon and inquired. They were sold out. Asked them to order it for me - was told it would arrive in a couple days.
Cancelled the Amazon order.
Trying to buy it for my GFs Xmas present.
I was there the week of October 1st - they didn't have it at World of Disney, but they did have it at Art of Disney at Disney Springs.I was at WDW last week, did not see it at the parks and asked at World of Disney at Disney Springs and the cast member said she hadn't seen it there (but she wasn't sure if it was there earlier and had gone out of stock).
To be completely and bluntly honest - I've got a lot of Disney books, and it's... okay. It's kind of a by-the-numbers history of the resort, so if you already know a lot of the history, there aren't that many surprises. (I described it to someone as a coffee table brochure.)Anyway, for those that have - is it worth putting on my list for Santa?
Hi fellow bookseller!I work for Barnes & Noble, so I’ve ordered one for myself.
I just bought a copy for $60 American on Amazon.ca. It’s available there.Fwiw, I pre- ordered from Amazon and never got it-- they just canceled the order. Was so mad because of what the above poster said-- not available not except resale.
