Is anyone else having a great day?

Today has been a wonderful day...the sun has been shining all day, talked to a very dear Wish'er by phone this morning, cleaned my entire house and my kids haven't fought all day long!! The best part though was I tried on a shirt today that hadn't fit me in the longest time and it actually fit!! I was some happy!! When I first started Atkins, I made it my first goal to fit into that shirt...It is a Dallas Cowboys Jersey and well, jersey material is not very flattering on me at the weight I was, so I was happy when it fit and there was room in it! I used to love wearing it and while I wouldn't wear it now, it is a great accomplishment for me to be able to say I could wear it if I wanted to now!!

It is the little things in my life that make me the most happy!!

Sounds like you're having a great day. Maybe if we had sunshine here my day would have been great. But I did have a good day.

I cleaned out my daughters' closets to put all the summer clothes in. Funny thing is, it's so cold they can't wear them! I drank plenty of water, did 3 miles on the treadmill, and did good with my eating. I have had 2 bad days in a row, so I needed a good day.

I'm just glad to hear that somebody's day was GREAT!!

Beanie, the sun is shining here too and it is hard not to be upbeat when it is such a beautiful spring day! My DS-9 has been playing outside all day (since 1:00 and it's now 7:00!) with the neighbor kids and there has been not one squabble! My DH has been sweet, attentive, and affectionate today (gotta love that), and I am taking things slow and not rushing to get stuff done. I am happy, happy, happy!

What a coincidence, Bean! I got to speak by phone with a really great WISHer today. She has a very positive attitude and is such a caring person, you can't help but love her.

I love it that you have reached and surpassed a "mini" goal. Isn't that just the greatest feeling of success? Way to go! I'm happy and proud for you.

Have you set another minigoal, now?

How about.....wouldn't you like to take a color train tour out of Crawford's Notch? I hear it's just gorgeous in the fall

Oh yes, Kath, definitely a trip to Crawford Notch in...say, October?? How about a mini goal of eating dinner with you in NH sometime this year? LOL!

Glad to hear you had a great day. It wasn't too bad here weather wise. No rain, some cloudy times, some sunny times. I got lots of exercising in today gardening. I guess it was a good day for me too.

I have had a great day today too! It wasn't brite and sunny here where I am in PA but I had a great day anyway. I am not in my new house yet but my parents were having the roof and windows put on the new addition today and my dad (a carpenter, retired) and my brother (new carpenter), my boyfriend, and a bunch of carpenter buddies were out there working hard and I was a big help to them and my mom with the preparing of the food. And the GREATEST PART of today was that there was alot of beer to drink and I didn't have one and I wasn't tempted too even after all the stress today did bring because it was so crazy. I was content not to have one and I was so happy not to have one. Thanks for all your encouragement. Have A Disney Day!!!
