Is anyone else frustrated with airfare$$?

Thanks for the quick reply mareed! This is my first time flying them. I don't know if the rates will go any lower but just in case! I'm actually happy with the rate I received when I booked but if it goes lower than that may be an excuse to fly down again next year!! Thanks again!
:D

If your funds are not released call SW and they can fix it for you. They had to do that for me last time.

Looks like SW released their internet fares but they were no better than what I have already. Looks like everything is booked already! Wow, that was quick!

I fly out of Boston, and finally broke down and booked my flight for Oct. Paid $205, which killed me, but I am trying to look on the bright side. I leave at 7:30 am and arrive at 10:30 am direct flight. I leave at 7:20 pm and arrive at 10:15 pm, direct flight. Direct flights from Boston are hard to find. That flight is now going for $310. The flight booked up fast. I think there are only 20 seats left on the plane, if you can believe the Delta website. The flights are on Song.

Broke down and bought when prices dipped to $225 a person Ouch! But we got direct flight on USAir leaving at 7:00 am (very important to us) and returning at 6:30 pm. Would have preferred the later return at 9:20 but I can live with the 6:30. Was more than I wanted to pay, but I pretty much got what I wanted at a price I know I can afford. Plus, now I don't have to continue stressing and playing the airfare game. By the way, my exact flight is back up to $280 now on the USAir website.

I am sooo Happy!! I just checked back with SWA and noticed the price dropped almost $100 so we changed the reservations and we are now paying $594 BWI-MCO, roundtrip, for the four of us, fees/taxes included! I am definitely doing the happy dance right now!!! For those of you still struggling with the airfare, just hang in there and keep checking! Good luck!

LuckyMommy:
When are you going? I am waiting for them to release the Oct. schedule, and just wondered how far in advance the fares dropped.

We're leaving August 30th and returning September 4th. I'm really surprised we got such good airfare considering it's Labor Day weekend! My mom says it's due to everyone getting scared of SARS and not booking.

Judging from my flights out of Providence on the 1st of Sept. and returning on the 8th (yes, I changed from Long Island, my daughter is joining us and I wanted us to fly together), I don't think anyone is afraid of SARS. They are sold out on the "good fares". Just to share, the 3 of us are flying rt, ns, from Providence to Orlando for 453.93 total which is 151.31 each. Not the best I have ever done, but, judging what they are now, not too shabby either.

we are flying Airtran out of Buffalo $183 rt including taxes....I thought that was pretty decent, considering I got my very early departure (6:35 am) & arrival in Orlando at 10:45 am....then we don't leave Orlando until 6:30 pm....that is two full days of wdw we can enjoy....I also don't like to play the waiting game....we are going to last week of August.....can't wait!!!
