I could live in the worst or best neighborhood in the world and I'd still have the same opinions.
In fact, I did live in a neighborhood where most folks on the DIS would be scared to take their children...and probably themselves. We were about as broke as you can get and we struggled to pay rent, eat, pay electric bills (in that order), etc.
And I now class myself among the lucky upper-middle-class folks where we are yearly debating whether or not we should put up a fence and make our street private. (I vote "Why bother?" and I usually sway the street.)
My opinions have always been the same, rich or poor, regardless of geographical location: People should be equal and free.
While I'm always interested in where people in our little DIS family live, I don't think it makes much difference when they offer up an opinion on something.
eta: Cleveland area. It's already snowing here.

I know it's time for bed now. I just read that as.....
Right now we are in MD but before that I was in SC but commute to Nashville, TN to work. Confusing, huh? I'm also scared to add my location b/c I don't want to toggle my tags and lose them!
I loved the inside, felt like I was somewhere else.
