Is anyone cruising with me on the August 27th 2011 Meditteranean Cruise? Hellooooo?

Dreams say they have now linked our two bookings. We have me and ds8 on one booking and dw and dd6 and DS 3 on the other. When I log on to my booking it doesn't show any details of the other booking. I have to click on the 'retrieve another booking' link and then it just shows that one and nothing about the other one. Is this right? I would expect that if they are linked you would at least see the other one on the same page, or is that too much to ask? Lol.

Just want it to be simple when I am doing the excursions etc at 00:01 on June 13th (or 06:01 uk time)

Any one else got multiple bookings or experience of this?

Hi again. A tipping question. Do you pay full tips for kids? The difference is quite a bit looking at the tip calculator. I am quite happy to pay the full $420 as the kids will be treated really well I am sure. Just wondered what everyone else does?

I always pay full for kids they make more of a mess then I do

If you charge tips to your room on the form from DCL there is not a different rate for kids so maybe the tip calculator is for other cruise lines.

Our fish extender (by Grady'smommy) arrived today! What fun. We went with a pirate theme and it looks great. I am surprised how small it is but I assume that it is the normal size. I have it hanging on the back door so the boys see it when they walk in. Only about another week till I can book my Rome excursion too. I am getting excited...

I am glad you got it and like it Yes, she makes the standaard size--one which fits very nicely on the metal fish and along that section of wall

Just trying to look at teh reservation online will never show you both at once It would be nice if DCL could figure that out

You should be able to do online check in now. When you get to some of the questions for that you will see drop downs that list all 4 of you (I know you get it for charging privileges) as options which will indicate to you that the link is really there.

Otherwise, the only time you see all four of you is when you go to book excursions, etc. Just log into ONE of the reservations and then click on what you want to do. When you get to the point of booking it it will list all the names and you check off who you want.

Believe it or not this is actually an improvement from the olden days when you had to book for one room only and then log out and log in as the different room and hope the same excursions were still left

Oh yes, it is expected that you give full amounts for kids.

Hey everyone! Just checking in! I am so excited to see so many new people!

I am not sure if you all remember, but we were supposed to move to Germany. We found out yesterday that it is no longer required so we are staying in England! We are really happy to not have to move, but I had already changed our flights for the cruise! I think we are going to keep the flights and just spend a day or 2 in Germany before flying to Barcelona. I don't want to have to change them again!

Is there a new count for the FE list? I need to get on the ball here and start making them. I can't wait to meet everyone!!

I took dizmomof2's list on page 8 of this thread and then updated it from what I read in the threads that I didn't see on her list. Hopefully everyone is there. Did we want to add names to the list so for those of use doing personalized gifts, we know what names to put on them?

I read about the lanyards.... bummer, but I totally understand. I just think as a first time cruiser, I would like to see if we use the lanyard or not, but I can buy one online, so no biggie. I've already removed it from the website.

Stuck at 27 lbs lost, but have picked up running and I love it, am totally addicted.... so I plan to run on the ship : I am also getting ready to go back to college for my degree in accounting. I will start on Sept. 1st, but they are gonna grant me a one week leave for this vacation, so this will be the last vacation for a while, atleast till I am done with school

Can't wait to get more pics to add to the website! Keep me posted

Thank you! Well.... I don't think I want to be a CPA, lots of laws constantly changing, that I don't want to have to keep up with. Kudos to you for doing it AND loving it! I know I need my degree, and since I have been doing accounting for the past 10 years, I can attend an accelerated, knowledge based college that I can apply my experience to advance faster (hopefully).

Way to go on the weight loss!! Keep up the running! I plan to run on the ship too so if you want to meet up we can. I am still new to running, but yesterday my husband and I completed a 1/2 marathon.

I am a beginner runner, so I don't know if I can keep up with a marathon runner .... something about 13 miles scares me at this point...BUT I would LOVE to! We'll definitely have to get together and run on the ship! I am doing a 10 week program right now where I gradually increase the time I run, every other day, so hopefully i'll have enough stamina to last. I can do about 3 miles constant run w/o stopping right now... hopefully that will increase by the time we sail How is your weightloss going? I know you've been working on it as well...

I worked in CPA firms for many years but for the past four have been the financial controller in a business. I don't really ned to keep up with all the technical changes - we use an external accountant for that. I just get to play with the numbers to give people information for decision making. I hope they give you plenty of credit for on the job experience.
