Is anyone cruising with me on the August 27th 2011 Meditteranean Cruise? Hellooooo?

No problem!! Can't wait!

So I got an email today confirming our brunch, so I am on :cloud9: So Happy it worked out!

I can't beleive it--- 30 DAYS!!!! Yikes! I had a mini panic attack but I am all over my to do list now. The excitement is so wonderful :woohoo:
I am so glad the brunch worked out for you:goodvibes
Just checking in. Very happy to be in a 30 day countdown, but nervous about getting my girls to pack light. Is there any laundry service available on ship? Might need it as we arrive on the 23rd to Barcelona for a few days of touring before cruise. We will try for meet ups in Barcelona (Domino's) as well as on ship. Promenade Cafe for adults, Goofy's for kids, right? Bought some travel size shampoos and toothpaste today, anything to feel like it's getting closer to go time. How many FE gift days to we bring, I know the number of cabins but it is something for each day or every couple days? Sorry for the questions, this is new for me. :yay::cheer2:

Lots of questions here:upsidedow Let's see what I can answer:

1. There is self service laundry on the ship. The prices to sue the machines aren't bad but the cost of detergent is kind of high--you may want to pack a small package of it to bring with you instead. It can be hard to get in to sue the machines towards the end of the ships (there are not that many compared the the number of people wanting to use them), but if you want to wash what you already wore in Barcelona in the first day or two it will probably be easy to get in then.
You can also send your laundry out to be done for you, but that is pretty spendy.

2. Did the group decide on a time for the Domino's meet up?

3. Adults and everyone really will have an initial meet up at Promenade Lounge at 3:00.

4. Kids (and, obviously parent can still be around) will have an additional meet up right after the muster drill at Goofys. In our past experience it is not uncommon for some of the older kids to head off together aftet that and not to see them again until dinner time:rotfl:

5. Shampoo and conditioner (and soap and lotion) are actually provided on board;)

6. Most people only will put things in fish extenders on one day. More often than not the timing works itself out and you end up receiving something pretty much every day as some people get around to delivering early in the cruise, some later, etc.

Thank you for answering all of my questions! Yes, bringing some detergent that I pick up in Barcelona and doing a wash in the first couple days will work out perfectly for us. We will all (adults and daughters) will see you at 3:00 and the girls will be ready to explore after Goofy's for sure. I will wait to see if more details emerge about Domino's, I guess I was looking at the suggestion based on last year's meeting there. I am sure I will use my shampoo elsewhere, at least I got my toothpaste! Soooo looking forward to this trip!:goodvibes

Diane, if yo look at the FABULOUS website that Roni created for all of us then you can see all of that for yourself as the roll call does have locations listed (of anyone who sent in their location to Roni or posted it here). It is really a great resource for planning or just dreaming:thumbsup2

Not everyone shared where they are from. Of those who did, I count:
19 families from the US
1 from Canada
8 from the UK
3 from elsewhere in Europe on the roll call (but I recall two others postings, giving us all together 2 from Germany, 2 from the Netherlands, and you)
and 1 from Australia

Thanks, I've sent you a PM. Did someone drop out? just that I had worked out 17 cabins including ourselves.

I just checked out the website and it looks like the delauzons family is not on the FE list, but they are listed as participating on the "shipmates" tab. ?? Maybe they opted out after all??? I had 18 family's (including me) participating but that could have changed. I guess we'll find out when dizmom sends out the list!

I have only just found out about fish extender, and have been told i am too late to join , however if someone has dropped out, can we take their place??????

The delauzons family had to cancel their cruise a while back so they've been off the list for a little while. I did have another family that had to back out just as we closed the list.

Clairelow: I have no problem adding you as we do have such a small managable list, does anyone else mind? Could you send me all of your info (cabin number, people participating, names, and ages of the children) as soon as possible. If no one has a problem, I'll resend the lists tonight.

Sorry for the confusion, I must have missed the Delauzons post on canceling thier trip or I read it but didn't think to update the website. I've removed them now. I've been slacking on the website a bit, sorry guys!

I am okay with including the Clairlow family, if one of the families droped out, that means that I have some extra gifts. I am just about done, just needing to personalize them.

Real life has sort of stomped on me.

I am so sorry, I thought that you said that real life had stumped you, you can disregard my suggestions, I didn't mean to be inconsiderate.
