If we were to add on....what exactly do we need to do....besides come up with the moola??? LOL

If it's an Add-on, purchased directly from Disney, it couldn't be easier.

Call your guide, give him/her a cc number to charge a down payment. They'll send you the paperwork. You sign and return, and pay balance, or finance through Disney. (Just a little bit more paperwork, but still extremely easy)

I'd say that DVC could be a case study for alot of businesses who want to understand how to make parting with money very simple.

Basically we called our guide, told her we wanted to add on, gave her a credit card number for the deposit, and then waited for paperwork to come in the mail. It even had the return envelope.

Done and dusted.

I honestly cannot remember but how much is the intial deposit when doing an add-on?

I am almost certain that we only paid 10% down for our addon.

All addons financed thru Disney are at the preferred interest rate.

I am waiting for our guide to call us back- he is on the Disney cruise- recruiting for DVC- that's where we bought ours- on DCL- (I wish I had that job- LOL)I hope it's 10% or $500 would be even better.

I think we have the same guide. Is it Dave Kreutzer(sp??) ??? He is awesome. He is on some of those DVC dvd's in the mail.

I agree.... The paper work is extremely easy.
Just sign on the Mickey's and Date at the palm trees....about 10-15 pages worth...and you're in.:thumbsup2
One document will have to be notarized.

Make sure all paperwork is included for the current promotions. They are not included on the checklist that comes with the paperwork.
I am currently waiting for my 4th:scared1: FedEx package trying to get the Developer points and Visa that are part of the deal.

I would say it is almost too easy to add on... might be why so many DVC'ers suffer from addonitis. I know hubby and I came home rom our May trip, after from signing the papers on 300 pts at AKV, and within 2 weeks bought another 150 pts at VWL resale. I am wondering if we will end up adding on again after our Oct trip... although, I think we need to wait a couple of years to pay off the first two :)
