What is SO important about a campfire to you?
Does it make your camping experience more realistic?
Do you feel short changed because FW does not allow open fire pits?
We went to a state park and had to go inside our RV and turn on the air to get away from the smoke because so many fires were burning. Sure did not make our stay any better.
Are we the only non-smokers?

That being said, I don't think we'll miss a fire at WDW because we're planning on attending the group campfire.
Besides that, we'll be too busy to sit and relax around a fire. To me, the best time of day to be in the parks is evening/dark.
