I booked a 3-night cruise for Thanksgiving week 2009, in 2 cat. 12 cabins for 5 people, for just under $2000. Two months later I cancelled it. After reading the other day that DCL dropped the fuel supplement on new bookings, I checked the price of the 4-night cruise the week after Thanksgiving. We can get 2 cat. 12 cabins for 5 people for only $50 more than the 3-night cruise that I originally booked for the week before. That's a per-person cost of just under $100/day. 
I have a habit of booking and cancelling cruises, so it remains to be seen if we'll go on this one!
