Is 8am regular opening time less busy than 9am

Hours have been extended so instead of regular opening at 9am the MK is opening at 8am on a Sunday that I am visiting in October.

Are there less people there for 8am rope drop than if it was 9am?

Or about the same?

In my experience, the earlier it opens, the fewer people there will be.

Yes, little less crowded. The earlier a park opens the less people will be there

Yes, fewer people will be there for the 8am opening. That's a pretty early start for most folks on vacation.

Yes with the one exception being around Christmas/New Years. During those extreme days, the crowd at the MK at 7:15 will resemble the crowd at the MK on a typical day at 9:15. Maybe even bigger.

And the EMH mornings on top of those 8am openings were THE BEST during our trip last October. Totally worth getting up early for.
