As it says in the title ,we usually go for 2-3 weeks but only have 7 days off left , is it worth it for such a long trip ? not only time wise but money wise ?
We have visited for 7 days on a couple of occasions and would do so again like a shot if I got the right price for flights when we had holidays. As long as you plan, you get loads done and as sovietsong said it seemed much longer than a week. We came back feeling as if we'd really had a holiday where other types of short break just seem to disappear in a flash.
.I have done 1 week a few times before kids lol and we had a great time. I have always been lucky that I got it cheap so was worth it for us. 1 week is better than no week.

Thanks for the replies -my main thinking has kinda been brought up by queen disney -we were going to go to New York for 3/4 days but am looking at the guts of £2k for that and can easily do a week in Florida for that and it's only an extra couple of hours there I keep telling myself lol ,actually toying with the idea of maybe going over the tampa side and explore a different side of Florida this time so rushing about theme parks isn't a big concern this time

That is unless I had upper class (VA) or Club World (BA) seats on the plane and could stretch out and sleep.
in October we are going for 14 nights with my dd and her bf and will be doing universal, ioa, Busch and seaworld and see all the new attractions that will be open by then, so the march trip will be just disney plus will be there again for the flower and garden festival which I love, can't wait!
Thanks for all the input ,I'm certainly swaying towards going for it ,as a 2nd question I'm thinking of flying into tampa as we usually try and catch an ice hockey game ,apart from Busch gardens is there anything else of interest in the tampa area ?
