Is 6:40pm too late of an ADR for Dinner @ Hollywood & Vine (Fantasmic Dinner Package...the show starts at 9pm). I was told we need to arrive at Fantasmic 1/2 hr before so that would be 8:30pm. It's just 2 of us eating, myself and my Boyfriend. Is that enough time for us to eat and get over to Fantasmic or do I need to try and switch to an earlier ADR??

You'll have plenty of time. Even if you are not seated right away, we find that we generally need about an hour for dinner so I think your timing is good.

Okay thanks!! We are the same way with Dinner....usually an hour. Plus the fact that it's a Buffet I'm sure it won't even take the full hour since we can pretty much set our own pace. I just wasn't sure if I had needed to be at Fantasmic any earlier than the 1/2 hr the CM told.

Personally, I would get to the special Fantasmic Package entrance by 45 minutes before if you can. After 30 minutes, they no longer guarantee seats in the roped off section. If the stadium is very crowded, they will open up that section to non-package guests at 30 minutes before.

The last two times I did the package the waitress told me to get there 45 minutes before the show to be safe.

Seats are first come, first serve, so if you want good seats, get there earlier.

Just another fyi...they NEVER seat you right away, I've always had to wait. So its best to get to the restaurant at least 15 minutes early if you want to try and get seated on time.

I've never heard of a FDP ADR at 6:40 PM...everytime I've ever called the ressies for FDP have all been around 4:00 PM:confused3

Are you sure you booked FDP...did you have to hold it with a credit card?

Yes....I did have to hold it with a Credit Card. I had read about that as well (ADR's being at 4pm for FDP) so I was a little worried since there is no way we can eat Dinner that early. I think I might call and see if I can get it switched to maybe something around 6pm though so that way we will have plenty of time to get over to Fantasmic by 8:15pm.

Okay I just got off the phone with Disney Dining and every other time slot for the FDP on that night at H&V is booked!! So looks like we will be sticking with our 6:40pm ADR!! We'll just have to get there a bit earlier so we are seating by our ADR time!! Thanks for all the replies!

Don't worry. If you are seated by 7:00p at the very latest, you'll be done in time to get there early enough. Since its a buffet, you should be done within an hour. No worries! :goodvibes
