Is 5 a crowd in a regular room at Poly?

We are hoping to stay at Polynesian with our 5, 7 & 18 year old. Can anyone who's had five in a room there tell me if we will be stepping all over each other and crazed by the end of the week? We considered a jr. suite at Wilderness Lodge just for the extra room (scared to price out a suite at Poly), but really want to be at Polynesian for the monorail etc.

5 will easily fit in a standard Poly room, depending on how tall your 17 year old is he/she may even fit in the day bed

Nope, the rooms at the Poly are very generous!! Our family of four stayed there in December and especially with a patio, we had room to spare! My brother (20) fit in the day bed, my parents shared a queen and I got my own queen. We could have definitely fit in another grown person. You will be fine!

Spent last week at the Poly with our five, myself, DH, DS24, DS17, DS11, had plenty of room. The beds were small (full size) but the room was very large. DS24 slept on the daybed. Our only issue was the bathroom sink was not seperate from the toilet, had to plan out our usage, lol.

All Poly rooms have queen size beds unless things have changed. The daybed is also a decent size- bigger than the ones at the YC/BC.

We've slept five and the the only issue is the line for the shower but it worked out fine. Rooms are very spacious and the resort is beautiful.

We do 5 at the Polynesian with 3 growing kids and we are just fine for the week. Better so than most of the resort's rooms!

I've stayed in a room at the Poly with 4 kids - 8,9, 12 and 13. We didn't feel crowded at all!

We stayed with six when DS was two. My grandparents, mom, DNiece5, DS2 and I were fine. Room to spare, even. Love the Poly rooms!! We stayed at YC minus my niece. It would have been a little tight if she had come.

I dont think so...we had a ground floor GV room in the Samoa building, DH, me, a 6 and 12.5 year old nieces and there was plenty of room.

Thanks everyone for your input! We just spent this past weekend in a hotel with two adjoining rooms and all of the space and privacy was great. We were just worried that going back to one room for the five of us would feel very crowded. Your replies were all very reassuring!

We stayed at the Poly with 4 adults and 2 children. The children were 6 and 2 at the time.

We were totally fine! The rooms there are great!
