Thank you for your replies! Not the answers I was expecting right off the bat -- I thought I'd hear things like, "Well, it's not young."
I find myself wondering if I should be rollerblading and doing things like that or do I look foolish at 41? I don't feel old, that is for sure but the frownies are starting to come out so I am considering botox. I have very young children so I figure I'm far from being a grandma.
It's a confusing age, but then again, so were the 30's. I was wondering if I was old then, too.
I'm 43 so someone who is 41 is a young whippersnapper. When I was 19, my best friend was 32 and to me he was old as the hills. I called him "harubang" which is Korean for "grandpa." Looking back, he was sooo young to take that abuse, lol.
I, too, am wondering the same thing....as I bought a pair of the softest sweatpants from Aerie yesterday. I am 43. Am I too old for this stuff? Am I too old do half the stuff I do? I have a nine year old, and I feel young....does that count?
I was buying a sweet something in Victoria's Secret this weekend for my husband's stocking and felt old, kind of...the girls that were helping me had no idea what a chemise or a tap and cami was. I worked there for 7 years and how can you not know that? I think it was more my body changes than anything they did or that I tried on...
