for Cinderella's Royal Table or Princess Storybook Breakfast? My daughter princess: (18 months now) will just be turning 21 months when we go in March. She's not into the princesses yet (I'm working on it). Anyone else take a child at this age?

Thanks!

I think children at that age are fun but they won't remember it. It is cute to see them react to the characters and such but again, it is us to you, just take lots of pics so they can look back years from now. Do I think 21 months is too young for those two, maybe so, I think the princess breakfasts are more for older kids who can relate to the characters, to her they will just look like girls dressed funny. If YOU want to do it then my goodness do it! I loved it and I don't have kids! Just a thought.

My Mom took me when I was 2 months old, I know, it's so early, but my Mom is a Disney fanatic like me, our whole family is! So my vote is its never too early!

Took my neice there last spring when she was 22 months, because her seven year old sister and four year old brother were into it. Fran was more interested in plying with her sisters autograph book than the princesses. In every photo she's looking at whatever she's managed to grab off the table while everyone was busy snapping photo's rather than paying attention to the princesses. :)

Basically at that age you're doing it for you. Personally you can get a better breakfast someplace else, and have charcter interaction in the parks for free. But if it's what you want, make sure you have plenty of film :)

We went when ds was 4. He did not like anything on the breakfast menu. Our waiter was a real trooper and ended up getting him cereal from Tony's.

for the replies! I think I'll skip them this trip and wait until she's a little older. This way it would free up some coveted spots for other little princesses out there.

Just a suggestion but alot of younger kids, toddlers, can relate to Pooh and friends. You might get more of a reaction if you go to Crystal Palace for breakfast. I don't think its too young to take a toddler to Disney, its memories for you, even if they can't remember. Just like someone previously mentioned take alot of pictures so it can be memories for everyone.

I agree take her to CP for Pooh. I took my 14 month old daughter to CP and she loved it. We took her again when she was 28 months old and loved it even more. When we was 14 months old she only got into Pooh and the Gang. This last trip she loved them all. She did the autograph book. When she was shared of them she asked us to get the signature.

I agree, go for Pooh! We took DD last year at 17 months and she just ADORED Pooh and friends! It was the perfect fit at that age. This year she'll be 28 months and we're doing Cinderella's. She is very much into the princesses now. It's amazing what a difference a few months can make. She puts her Cinderella dress on at least three or four times a day, twirls around the room, and says she's going to Disney World to see Cinderella and Mickey Mouse and the Castle. princess:

We're also doing Crystal Palace again because she does still love Pooh. ;)

We took our DS when he was 7 months to the Crystal Pal. for Breakfast with Pooh and friends. We had a wonderful meal and he loved Pooh, Tigger and Eeyore. They each stopped at our table (which was 7 adults and one infant) and spent a nice amount of time with our DS. We have wonderful video and pictures, it was great.

Before you go to the character meal, see how your toddler reacts to the characters in the parks. Many are scared of them, as they are SO big. If she likes them, great... keep the PS for Pooh, if not, just go to Guest Relations and they will cancel it for you, no problem!

I have to vote for Crystal Palace too. I took my 17 month old there with his then 3 and 6 year old brothers. While they liked it as well, the baby loved it! He hugged and kissed on all the characters (as I was holding him), and we got the cutest pictures! He is now almost 7 and still loves to look at those pictures!

I prepared my DS Luke for the characters by showing him the Disneyland Sing a Long video. It shows what the characters look like in real life. We took him to Cape May for breakfast and he did GREAT! He just didn't want them to touch him. Other than that he was in his glory!
I would say do Crystal Palace or Cape May.

We took our boys to PSB, they were 3 and 15 months, and they both liked it. 15-mo old doesn't remember a thing but the pics are cute!

At 24 months, my DD was afraid of the "furry" characters. She finally warmed up to minnie by the end of the week - but she loved the face characters. At CRT prince Chraming picked her up and hugged her and she loved it.

We were at WDW in Jan with DD being 18 months. We will be returning in May with DD1 being almost 3 and DD2 being almost 1. We will be dining at the castle...hopefully for the character breakfast.

DD was terrified of all of the BIG characters. She cried when any of them got close to her. We went to 1900 Park Fare to see Pooh and friends and she was terrified of Pooh and Tigger up close. She liked them from a distance, but was scared when they got close. However, she loved Alice in Wonderland and Mary Poppins. The next day at MGM, after seeing lots of characters she did not like, she walked right over and backed up to sit in Snow Whites lap. She loved her. I think she understood the plain face characters. All that to say, even though she is not into the princesses yet, I think all kids think they are cool and would enjoy seeing them.

We are going to try for CRT and Chef Mickeys to get a little of both!
