Irs refund question

Mine said that the direct deposit was scheduled for Feb 25 but when I checked online banking today, the deposit hit my account today!

For what it's worth I heard they update their site every Wednesday so that is the day to check for any updates

Just letting you know that is what mine says but when I checked my online banking, the deposit was there today.

My bank is never early for direct deposits so I'm surprised it was there today.

I just checked the IRS website again and now this is what it says "Your expected refund date has been changed due to processing delays. You should receive your refund by March 8, 2011."

That made me check mine. Mine now says the 25th, no processing delay here.

Mine is still saying that. I am hoping it will come this Friday. If my memory services me correct it shows this every year that it is deposited on a Friday. Keeping my fingers crossed.

Mine used to say the same about a processing error, but today switched to saying we will have it on Feb 25th, but it will be significantly lower due to a calculation error in the EIC. I figured up the EIC we should get using the worksheets on the IRS website and the calculation made by Turbo Tax was wrong!

oh great! I used Turbo Tax too..wonder if ours is wrong too! I'm really hoping it gets deposited on Friday

Turbo Tax had estimated our refund for March 4. But the IRS website says Feb 25 And the amount on the IRS website shows the exact same as Turbo Tax did. Praying that it hits this Friday because my car is in the shop with $2500 of work needed on it

Irs website says expect refund by March 1, thats a tuesday, I thought they only dump direct deosits on Friday? Has anyone else experienced this?

Mine said the exact same thing.....expect deposit on Feb 22nd, a Tuesday. I checked a few days later and it said expect deposit on Feb 18th...and it was there!

I checked yesterday and it said she be received by March 1st. I checked today and it said due to processing delays, it be until March 8th now

EEK! Hmm...well...I know mine was expected to be March 4 but now I'm wondering if the EIC will change because I used TurboTax. As long as I don't all of a sudden OWE thousands of dollars, I'm good.

Just checked the IRS website and it says Feb. 25 which would be awesome!! It also has the same amount as TurboTax. We shall see by March 2 I suppose (it says if it hasn't been deposited by then, to contact them). It definitely didn't show up today because DH got paid so I already checked the account and was paying bills this morning. I would have noticed...LOL! I probably would have fallen over in shock since I wasn't expecting it until next week.

My status from the IRS "Where's My Refund" says the same and mine wasn't in my account either.
