Ironing Board OMG!

Okay... so I found one at Walmart for $14... cover and all! I know it is not the best one, but it should do just fine for my DS.

Thanks again for all of the suggestions. I am glad I went to the actual store instead of just looking online.

I had no idea how much ironing boards cost until now. I'm trying to think of the last time I ironed anything. Hmm, I'm not even sure where my iron is. lol

My iron clothes go to the dry cleaners. They launder for $1.29 and dry clean for $1.99. Well worth it to not have to iron!

OH GOOD!!! I didn't read all the posts. I thought I would get blasted for saying this on the BUDGET board so I'm glad you posted it first!!!

SERIOUSLY! Save the $40 you would spend on the board and get 40 shirts laundered and pressed. It is SO WORTH IT and the shirts last SO much longer and look SO much nicer!!!

DH does this with all his shirts. No matter how I try, I can't press them as well and for less than a dollar (with coupons) it is NOT worth my time and trouble to iron shirts!!!

I agree that shirts LOOK better when you have them laundered, but they definitely do not LAST longer if you have it done often. Now, if you actually have 40 shirts, then you wouldn't notice that . . . I'm very frugal, but my DH's cotton shirts are sent out b/c neither of us is going to keep up with it.

OP -- You can find cheap ironing boards but they are absolute crap. I bought one at Target that literally bent just from the force of ironing. I replaced it with a Bed, Bath and Beyond one using the 20% off coupon -- I think it was about $40, but it is so much better.

I iron on my air hockey table. We built a plywood cover for it to use it as a table and then I made an ironing board cover for it out of cotton fabric and cotton batting. It works pretty good and is huge (I use it for quilting).
