Hi ladies!
I went with one of my other bridesmaids last night and we picked out a dress for her. They just happened to have the dress in the correct size and the correct color on the rack, so we didn't even have to order it! I don't think she will even need many alterations done, especially once she is wearing shoes!
Ugh, I keep having bad experiences at David's. I wouldn't deal with them anymore, except they have the color I want for BM dresses and they are fairly cheap on them. While my BM was changin out of the dress and back into her clothes, the saleslady cornered me and told me that I needed to order all of the dresses NOW for all of my BMs or else they wouldn't have them as they have so much turnover. I explained to her that all of my girls are built differently and I just want them to have dresses the same color and length. She told me that this did not look good and it is a bad idea

I wanted to tell her that I didn't care about her opinion at all, but I just smiled and told her thanks for the advice.
The lady at David's took FOREVER to put this in a bag. In the meantime, I thought me and BM would die as we were trying not to bust out laughing. There was this woman in there for alterations, and she was walking around the store waiting for her appt. She was wearing this sort of long T-shirt (just past the rear) and it looked like she had no bottoms on. We never figured out if she did or not, but as soon as we got out the door, we doubled over laughing. It was such a horrible sight

. Besides, it was freezing cold here and puring down rain yesterday

Do you think the bustle part needs a brooch on it? The sales lady suggested a ribbon or a sash, but I am thinking that would look tacky. A brooch might look tacky too. I like it fine the way it is, really, but my tastes tend to lean towards classic and plain
Do you ladies think that a silvery wrap would look good with these dresses, or should I get them wraps in the same color? I am afraid that it may be a bit chilly for them in January. Or do you think I should just let it go?
Now BM has a dress, Sister (MOH) has a dress. Just one more dress (BFF MOH) to go!
Here are some pictures of the invites I have been working on. I am using the same papers I used for my save the dates. I ordered the silver cards and pockets folders, along with silver envelopes for both the invites and the RSVPs. I will put the actual invite on the main page. In the folder I will have the RSVP, info on our festivities, and one sheet for whatever I feel is pertinent when we get closer to the time. I wanted to get a head start, as these take FOREVER!
