Ireland June 2018

Planning to book Ireland tomorrow! Has anyone done this tour? Pros/cons? Just looking for general insight. It will be myself, husband and 2 daughters - ages 18 & 20. We did Italy 2 years ago and loved it, this will be our 2nd ABD trip. Thank you!

There are several folks on this Forum who have taken this trip. And I've heard a lot of glowing things about it. Hopefully, they'll be by to comment.

If I might make a suggestion, you might want to change the title of this thread to indicate that you're looking for input on the Ireland trip. This title looks like you may just be looking for other people on your specific departure. I'd want to make sure the people with the information you're looking for know to check out this thread!

( A ) We use Euros ....... NO NEED for U.K. Money.

( B ) Chip & Pin for Credit & Debit Cards ...... Although some places will allow signatures .............. Cheques are a thing of the past

( C ) A 3 pin Flat power point Plug for charging

( D ) Tipping is NOT EXPECTED

Our first trip to Ireland, loved every bit of it.

We have been on eight ABDs, and this is one of our favorites.

I lived in Cork for 6 months for work and absolutely loved it. Weather during the summer months is fantastic (although the winter months were pretty brutal!)
