iPod vs. Zune

No experience with zunes, but lots with ipods. Love the ipod, couldn't be happier with it.

DD13 has a Zen that she got last year. She hasn't had any problems with it at all so far. She's getting a 30G Zune for Christmas. I've done some online research on them as well and haven't seen any more or less bad reviews than for any of the others.

DS23 has an Ipod Shuffle that he's had for a while, but still loves. He also had a Zen, but hated it and gave it to his little sister, who, as I said above, loves it. He's getting a 4G Ipod for Christmas.

DD20 got an 8G Ipod last year and has had problems with it from the beginning. Literally from the beginning of the time she got it. We had to send it back the first week she got it. They kept it for 13 weeks to repair before they finally just sent her a new one. The first one I ordered had her name engraved on it, the new one wasn't personalized. At that point, we just kept it though. She continued to have one problem after another with it and it basically just sits in her room unused now.

I don't think I've been of any help at all here, huh?
