Ipod Touch - post deals

Walmart has a black friday deal. iPad 2 for $399 with a $75 Walmart gift card.

I jumped on the Target deal for 4th generation iPod touch, too. I bought one for each of my DS's so ended up with $50 Target GC and used my Red Card to pay so saved some $$ off the sales price, too. I'll take it!

Thanks, I was looking for the IPAD 3!!

The 8gb refurb at $129 price was right for DS7 for Christmas (thanks Nana). I'm not messing around with stores the day after Thanksgiving.

Is 16gb or 32gb probably a better deal long term, sure...but he is 7 and if something happens to it, I would be upset, but not heartbroken.

I just checked Apple's website and they have a limited time price reduction on the refurbished touches. An 8GB is $129, and a 32GB is $179. I forget what the 64 is.
Now I'm debating on returning the 16GB I got from Target and just ordering a 32GB from Apple. (2 of them because my other ds wants one too).
I have gotten refurbs from them before and they have a 1 year warranty just like the new ones.

Went shopping today. The best price I saw was $179.00 for the 8GB 4th generation. I didn't see any sales on the 5th generations either. I think I'm going to hold off for a bit. I want to get a good deal, but don't want to have to go out on Black Friday. :scared1:

Where did you hear that Walmart is guaranteeing stock for 1 hour? Just curious how they can do this...a quantity restriction I get, but time?

It says it on their ad.

For those looking for deals on the iPad 3-Apple has had the refurbed ones at great prices lately. The 16GB has been $379. They go in and out of stock so if its showing out of stock, keep checking back, they do get them in.

Thanks for the heads up on the sale on the refurbed Ipods. I was about to order one the other day at $149...but got it today for $129. DD will be thrilled on Christmas morning:thumbsup2

I ordered the 32GB 4th Gen. for my dd for xmas yesterday, she's been asking for one for 2 years and I'd rather her have the extra memory!
;)

The shopping mall that had my Target and Best buy is offering $10 gift card bonus for every $50 in gift cards you spend there.

If I could get that - on the 4th generation I could get it for $194 + $40 mall gift cards and $50 BB gift card...that really seems too good to pass up.

I will go with Best Buy right now unless of course Target sends me a coupon like they have in the past few years for a bonus Ipod purchase coupon.

Any idea if you can get the best buy 5th generation deal online? I have to work Black Friday in retail and I can't get near a best buy.

I just ordered I Pod 4th generation 8G for $129 off the Apple refurb site. Free shipping with 1 year guarantee. It is for my 5 y/o so she does not need much. I am excited.

I want one for my DD10. I had the $129 one in my cart at the Apple.com site, but then didn't buy it, but do you think that will be the best deal? I figured if I could get a new one for $20 more I would go that route, but refurbished are good quality right?

We will probably get the 16gb Target deal for $195 + $40 gift card.

We have 5% pharmacy rewads + 5% for using their CC, so the $195 will actually become $175 + the gift card, which brings the net cost down to $135.

I think that's a good deal. Just wondering - did they charge you sales tax?

I have bought refurb Apple products in the past and never had any issues. I wouldn't hestitate to get the $129 offer, but if you could find a new one for $20 more, I would consider that too. But CAN you find one for $20 more? It's not worth fighting BF crowds at 4am to save $20 in my opinion! :rotfl: And the Target deal the PP mentioned sounds like a great deal, but I don't have the Target card or rewatds card, so it would be $155.

I did the same for my 5 year old! Now, I just need to take the one off layaway at Walmart.
