IPOD Touch Break-resistant cases??

OMG!!!!!! Just made dh unwrap ds's otter defender case for his new ipad(christmas present). We are not sure what the real one looks like but after removing the silcon case the plastic looks really flimsy!!!!! Dh is going to the store to buy one and see what they are suppose to be like.I'll come back and let you know what we find.THANKS for the info:thumbsup2

Here is the website you can use to compare the way the authentic ones are supposed to look. The fake cases I got from Amazon have clear differences in appearance. Also the inside plastic is very flimsy compared to the real.
I feel bad for people who have been scammed. If I didn't order directly from here I would have known.

We bought two Otterbox Itouch 2nd/3rd generation cases from Amazon last week. I'd like to believe they're real, but even watching all the videos on Youtube and reading people's blogs, I'm not 100% convinced. Most of the videos are for current Iphone or Itouch models so none of the pictures match our cases exactly. They came in boxes and the package seems to match, but there's no holographic sticker.

I have had an otterbox for 2 years now for my iPhone. My phone has gone flying more then once and is in perfect condition. I am in a barn every day. It has also survived a few falls and a throw from my youngest child. I know mine is real - bought from otterbox when the verizon iphone came out and there was no cheaper options.

My son is getting an itouch for Christmas and I bought him an otterbox also directly from otterbox. They do have sales etc. Glad I bought it there now that I have heard about fakes for sale for less. I bought him a discounted one in a less popular color. Though lucky for me and him, it's my DS's favorite color :goodvibes
