Ipod Synching question

I currently have all 3 of the Ipods in my house installed on my computer, because dd's computer was not new enough to use Itunes. She is now getting a new one, and I will put her music on her own computer. My questions is, does anyone synch theirs with a USB cable? I use the firewire on mine, but her new one does not have a firewire connection, so I want to make sure that the USB cable they supply with the Ipod works ok too.

I use the USB and usually don't have a problem. (although of course on vacation when I was using my iPod as backup storage for my camera it stopped working. I think it is the actual cable, but now that I am home, it is working fine.)

My DH says you should not have a problem using the USB cable.

Don't forget that the Ipod will not automatically put the music from your DD's Ipod onto the new computer.
