Does anybody know how to put "blank media" into an ipod. I am looking to insert like 30-60 seconds of blank space between a couple of songs in a playlist I use for teaching Jazzercise. My district manager mentioned it in an email, and I figured someone here would be able to help me with this!

Thanks!! :thumbsup2

I haven't done this myself but see if you can get the song to start at a -01:00, in the song info section. Right click on song, get info, options (tab).

does not work, sorry.

Audacity allows you to record and convert to Mp3 anything you want, so record your songs, while playing on your computer, and let the recording continue for the extra time needed. Or just record blank air or background music and add it into your playlist, :confused3

there is a crossfade option in the preferences - playback, but it only goes up to 12 seconds. I think you would have to edit each song to add that large of a gap.

Thanks for trying guys...anyone else out there know about "blank media"...30-60 seconds long??? :confused3

Why not just record a blank 60 sec. song and upload it to your iPod? I've never done that but it should work. PM me your e-mail address if you can't figure out how to do it and I'll give it a try and if it works I'll e-mail you the file.
