I know there has to be someone out there that can tell me whether or not this can be done. I've fiddled with iTunes as much as I know how and can't accomplish this, but I think it CAN be done!

Here's the deal--I have loaded all of my Christmas CDs into my iTunes and downloaded them to my ipod. Now that the holiday season is over--and yes, I know it's almost June--I've been working on this off and on since January LOL--I want to take the Christmas music off of my iPod, but leave it in my iTunes library.

When I synch my ipod is there a way that I can tell it to synch everything but the holiday genre?? I don't want to delete them from my itunes library and have to upload them all again next winter.

Anyone, anyone??

Untick the little box next to the song and it shouldn't sync it to your ipod if you select "sync checked" but it should stay in your library.

Thanks! I had already unchecked it, but didn't know there was the place that I had to tell it to only synch checked items!

Yea! I knew someone here would be able to help me. Should have asked in January:lmao:

An easy way for me is to create a playlist titled Christmas, then drag all of the songs from your library into it. When you go to sync mark the place that says sync selected playlists only and either check or uncheck it, depending on your desire.
