Ipod Help!

I purchase some songs from the Itune store even though it's my children who own the Ipod. My wonderful dog knocked our computer over and lost all our music. My kids were able to retrieve their songs because it was stored on their Ipod.

Is there a way to retrieve the songs I purchased? I hope someone has an answer...

Were any of the songs you purchased on the ipod to begin with? If so you can buy a doo-hicky off of ebay or amazon that will upload the song that are off your ipod back onto the computer.

I don't think they were ever on the Ipod. My music is not cool enough to be on their Ipod

When going into the Itune store it does show that it was puchased. I just wish I could reload it or something.

I think you can have Apple send you replacements for your purchased songs. They did that for me awhile back. I can't remember how I was able to get it done but I contacted them through Itunes somehow. Good Luck.

In the future if you continue to buy music from iTunes back it up on an external hard drive or data CD's.
