Hi all,

I recently bought a new laptop which runs windows 7

I've been dying to get an ipod touch so that I could download the eticket app.

However, on the packaging for the ipod touch I was looking at buying, windows 7 was not listed, and upon reading online, it seems some are having capability issues.

Is anyone here using windows 7, and if you are, does your ipod touch/iphone work okay with your computer? Does it sync and does Itunes recognize it?

I just want to be sure before I spend 300 dollars on something, just to find out I can't use it lol.

TIA! :thumbsup2

I'm not an expert, but I think that as long as you can download (and run) iTunes, you should be fine. Your Ipod or iPhone doesn't really interact with Windows ... everything goes through iTunes.

I think it's generally that Apple haven't updated the packaging since Windows 7 was released. But I'm using an original iPhone, 2nd gen Shuffle and Classic with Windows 7 :thumbsup2

There were some early issues with pre-release versions of Windows 7, but those have been resolved. I've been running iTunes on Windows 7 for quite some time without any problems whatsoever.

I am running windows 7 64 bit and I had definite issues. On some research it turned out that it was motherboard related and I had to upgrade the bios to fix it.
