Just wanted to recommend an App for the iPhone that I tried for the first time this weekend on a drive from MA to Orlando. iExit comes in two versions, lite (free) and pro. I used the lite version on the way down and it is great. It shows what is available for restaurants, gas, etc at the upcoming exits. It knows what direction you are traveling and shows the next 10 or so exits in the lite version. It has a moving map display and is really good on the iPad.

Thank you - I'm downloading now. Did you find a need to upgrade to the paid version?

Haven't tried the paid version yet but at $.99 I decided to buy it just to support the developer.

I use one called Road Ninja that sounds exactly the same. And I use it while riding shotgun while my DH drives. ;-)

I use Waze. It's user interactive and great (for the passenger) on long road trips.

I also use Waze along with Road Ninja. There are so many apps out there. :)

I use WAZE. It got us through the freeways of LA when we went to DL last year. We went to the Ronald Reagan Library one day and Hollywood another day. I use it on the way to work because it gives traffic conditions.
