I've searched the boards for apps, and found a few good ones, but wondering if there is an iPhone app that will tell you Fastpass availability and/or Fastpass return times? Thanks!

Lines through Touring Plans has this ability and the app is free. However, you have to subscribe to Touring Plans in order to use it.

yes! This is EXACTLY what I was looking for - and I am subscribed to TP but didn't utilize it much in my planning - but this app alone is worth the price! Thanks SO much!

I got an I-Phone last month and love it! It's fun looking at the wait times and picturing everything like you are there.

Also, Disney has a mobile site that you can access thru safari that gives you all the park info including fastpass availability, but it does not give you wait times.

The touring plans app is called Lines. It's fantastic. I downloaded it before our February trip and it is SO helpful to know if there are still FP's available and what the current return time is. If there are no FP's available, it clearly indicates GONE. I highly recommend it.

LOVED the Lines App.

We used the lines app this past December,it was great and accurate! Also was great when park hopping,bc you knew which rides had long/short waits or if they had fast passes left or not , before you got to the park! Loved that you could also see show and parade times for the day!

how does that app work? Who is entering the info and keeping it up to date? Especially for all lines and fast pass machines?!:confused3

They start with a statistical model of how quickly return times advance/wait times grow for an expected crowd level. The model is then adjusted as other Lines users enter their direct observations. This is a pretty popular technique in the mobile apps community called "crowd-sourcing". It is fairly accurate in my experience.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone on this thread thread that talked so highly of the Touringplans.com app "Lines". After reading this thread I mentioned it to my DH who said I should subscribe just to get the app for our May trip. He has been looking at it ever since and finds it so cool and he knows it will help us out (we want to try and avoid running from one side of the park to the other for FPs, and now that we know what the times and return times are, it will make it easier for us). Normally I don't ever subscribe to any touring websites since we go to Disney all the time and we pretty much know Disney World like the back of our hands, however with this app, I know it will make our lives much more simpler :goodvibes It is threads like these that make the DISboards ROCK!!!!!!!:disrocks::thanks:

I am subscribed to Touring Plans and I have the app. I'm looking at it now for "today" but most attractions have not been updated since early this morning and it is now after 2:00pm EST. Does anyone know if this is typical or is it constantly updated even though it does not state so?
