Not me. Ours will be delivered to the door. Will go by AT&T to try and purchase some bumpers for the phones. Hope they have them. Seen them on ebay. Man people are trying to rip you off on there. They want 59.99 for a bumper. I think not.

I am hoping the Apple store has some bumpers in stock...preferably pink! Also, the company that makes the invisible shield opened a kiosk right outside the Apple store so I plan to get one of those right after I pick-up my phone.

Me too! The store here opens up at 7 AM and I am planning on leaving my house at 6 with the kids. Hopefully I will have it in time to get the kids to camp at 9 AM.

Queuing up early tomorrow for mine.
Opening at 8:02 instead of 9 so hopefully I'll get it before going into work for 10am

Good luck to all of us who didn't get in the 'pre-order'. I was at Disneyland that day, so I can't complain too much. Still ... I was walking by the Apple Store at 3:30 this afternoon and there was ALREADY 2 lines forming. One line for those that had pre-ordered (because apparently they aren't guaranteed a phone?) and one line for in-store retail purchase without a pre-order.

The store opens early, but even if I'm there an hour before opening, I doubt I have much of a chance. Still, I might try it. If I can't get a phone, then I'll just go out for breakfast.

My carrier (and most uk carriers) o2 had no preorders, only apple did, and I wasn't sure about them with subsidised carrier plans, so had no choice.

Am in the queue now, 30 in front of me, 20 behind (it's a small store).
Opening in 10 mins, fingers crossed they're quick and efficient

This could be one of those things where the biggest part of the line could inside the building.

The line inside is huge. Things seem to be moving pretty quickly, so we shall see how this goes.

Apple employees have been distributing apple juice and cereal bars.

People are beinng really friendly except for the tool ahead of me that has told everyone that walks by that he's a "reservationist".

He's been told the same thing over and over........"yeah.......so? Stay in line."

FedEx delivered ours last night.

However we have friends that were in the mall at 5:30am and there were already 350-400 people waiting. The line moved quickly and he is now home and syncing his new iPhone 4.

I had the chance to use FaceTime last night and it is so much better than I expected. I've used webcams to keep in touch with my parents and that is always a mess. This was idoit proof. THe only catch is that I had to go into Settings > Phone and turn on FaceTime. Mine was turned off while my BIL's was turned on by default. We both restored from our last 3G backup so not sure why his was on and mine was off.

My huaband got to the store 2 hours early and was served Starbucks coffee. When they sepreated the line, he ended up being number 20. He waited about 20 minutes after the store opened and got his phone. They also were serving orange juice, fruit and muffins. He said they were hundreds of people behind him.

I tried the Walmart route. I arrived at 6:30 and was first in line. They had told me they were expecting 17 but only 3 arrived. They opened at 8am and I walked out 30 minutes later with my new phone. Anyone find a case they like yet?

Damn it, can't get the latest version of iTunes, I suspect Apple's servers are taking a hammering?

Should really have got it the other day, but wasn't overly confident of getting an iPhone 4 today.

Oh well, hopefully should be able to activate later, got my micro sim in my old 3g anyway for now

I called one of our local AT&T store a little while ago to see if they got any of the new bumpers in yet. The girls say we do not sale bumpers. We sell cell phone and accesories hahahah.
So i called another store, they have not gotten theres yet.

I just got back from the Apple Store! I arrived a 6 AM and was out by 9:20. They had the bumpers in black do I got one to protect it. As soon as I had my phone in hand I headed out to the Invisible Shield kiosk and had them install that for me too. So happy the wait is over!

Well I got notification that my wife just signed for mine at 11:22 AM EST, I just hope I will actually be able to activate it later. Now my hardest decision will be who gets my 3Gs my wife or my son.

Another question.........opinion on AppleCare???? I did not do it with my 3G, but I'm kinda thinking I may want to add it this time. Thoughts?? Prior Experiences??
