Anyone get an Ipad yet? What do think of it?

Not me but my brother did, it's like a Iphone but larger I personally don't see the big deal about it but he loves it' he says that was the best purchased he's bought in a long time

I got one as an early birthday gift. It is awesome!

Easter Bunny (aka DH) was going to bring me one but I told him to wait for the next generation to come out. I want one so bad but I know that if I hold out a bit that the next version will be better than the original.

DH has the 64GB w/ 3G on pre-order (it comes out the end of April). He had been wanting an iPod Touch for forever, and he also wanted a Kindle. So when they announced the iPad he was all over it. One of his co-workers bought the WiFi only version and brought it in on Monday and let DH play with it. I am a little concerned about getting the 1st gen, but DH has never wanted a "brand new toy" like this before (no cars, boats, game consoles, etc) so I'm okay with it, but made sure he is getting AppleCare.

I am excited about it too. We plan on taking it on vacations, when we wouldn't normally have our laptop. So we can get online if we wanted to look stuff up, watch a movie or something.

Well, I was going to respond, but she already said exactly what I would have. :thumbsup2
