We are traveling to Orlando in November with our two children, ages 11 and 2. The 11 year old really wants to do the thrill rides at IOA. Are there any attractions there that my 2 year old will enjoy? We have been to US but have never visited IOA.

Hi, I see that you haven't gotten any answers yet, so I'm bumping this up for you.
I will be going to IOA with my family in Oct. for the first time, so I can't answer your question from personal experience. However I have been reading all I can, and it does seem that the Seuss area is appropriate (and fun) for small children.

Hi - Seuss Landings is lovely for a young one. One Fish, Two Fish is a "Dumbo" type ride except you are likely to get squirted with water! There is also "Cat in the Hat" which would be lovely for a little one except the thing that you ride in whizzes round suddenly and it can be hard to hold on! There is "Caroseussel" which is like the carousel ride in Fantasy Land.

All in all, Seuss Landings is incredibly colourful - we have seen several "characters" there over the last couple of years including Thing 1 and Thing 2.

I think if you send your partner off with your 11 year old to get a fast pass for Spiderman (which is awesome!) while you and your two year old turn right as you enter and go straight to Seuss Landing you will have loads of fun.

My family really love IOA - DH and DS9.

Have fun!

Thanks for the reply.

Other than Seusslanding there is
the play area/pteredon flyers/and the "building" (can't remember the names, sorry) in Jurassic park
Me ship the Olive in Toon lagoon
Flying Unicorn in lost continent

I'm fairly new to these boards, and I really enjoy reading all the extras people add to their names and signatures. Thanks for link to the Pooh quiz - I was greatly surprised that I was labeled as a "Pooh". That's not how I saw myself at all!

One of these days I'll learn how to add my countdown to Orlando and other little things to my posts!

Dont forget for your 2 year old u also have Barney Fievel etc as well and the woody wood pecker coaster although not sure of height retriction:)

The funny thing with the pooh quiz is my 14 (well 14 in 14 days on the 14, our little running joke for today only) DS and 5 DD both "tested" as Roo.

here are the instructions for the countdown timer

As you see, I have my countdown. Thanks!!

Thanks to all for your help.
