Hi- anyone receive a paper invoice in the mail from Disney 2 months post check out?

we stayed at the wilderness lodge Sept 12-19. It was a split stay and , like usual, I received 2 invoices via email immediately after check out. Now, 2 months later my mom receives a paper invoice (dated Sept 18) with a small balance from Disney destinations. Strange because the room was under my name…

their are extremely limited details in the charges. It just seems odd.. has anyone else experienced this? Is this legit? I will also call- but was hoping to avoid 4 hours on hold. Haha

Edited to add that we all had magic bands and did charge things to the room. The initial invoice did have charges from 9/12-9/13, but none of them appear to be duplicated in the new invoice

I attached a screenshot of some of the charges

Yes, I did a couple years ago after leaving HH. I don't remember the exact circumstances but their system isn't as sophisticated at at DW. I think it had something to do with tapping a MB which really isn't a thing at HH.

I would seek confirmation via a reliable Disney contact and ignore any and all contact information on the paper. On eBay, for example, there are bots that track valuable items and automatically send you a message requesting a change of address when it sees the item sell. I could imagine, if Disney had guest dates/address hacked that someone might mass send out such a letter. Maybe it’s legit but definitely need to confirm via a trustworthy and verified contact. Of course if you recognize every transaction it is almost certainly legit, but still would want to verify.

of course Disney has the absolute worst call center procedures so, that is easier said than done.

I mean it is quite possible the charges are valid- I can’t remember what I did yesterday, more or less 2 months ago! 😂

Good idea to call and confirm
