I've been noticing more and more names that I don't recognize, and I thought it would be fun to introduce ourselves, so that others may know us better.


My name is Sandy, and I've been DISing since 2004
I own a custom picture frame store in Indiana, and I have 2 beautiful girls . My DH is an engineer by career, and a volunteer fireman and EMT when he is home.

I love the DIS, even after all the bannings that happened recently I've met so many wonderful people here both in person, and just online, and I'm proud to call them my friends Many you know me by my polls, which I have a blast doing , and many of you know me by the mega threads that I have started I must state that I am saddened at the amount of people that I know here that are now banned (I miss them), but I'm hoping that we, as a DIS community, can get past this sad time and have fun again arty:!!!

My name is Bethany and I am a teacher from Georgia. I lived near WDW as a kid and my DH is a big Disney fan so we decided to get married at WDW. It was the absolute best location for our wedding and I often wish we could do that trip again!

I'm Glenda and I live in a small town outside of the larger city in SC --- very quiet and every trip takes a plan!

I have two DDs, 8 and 9 and they've been homeschooled since the oldest demanded to be taught to read at 3 -- most days are an adventure!

What else?? DH is Chinese from Malaysia, far from home! We used to go back but now, with most of his family gone, we take them to WDW once a year.

Dunno, can't think of anything else. Boring but busy!

I'm Kristi, I work in customer service for ConAgra Foods, my dh Rick is a signals tech for the city. We have 2 dd, and made our first trip to the world last December, but definitely NOT our last. Our families think we joined a cult cause we (especially me) spend so much time on the DIS, but I've made some wonderful friends, some still here, some gone lately, and I feel so blessed to have gotten to know folks here.

I've been to Disney 3 times. Last October went with my DS4 for the first time and of course we had a blast. I'm dreaming of the day I would go again...don't know when, but hey I'll keep dreaming until it comes true again.

I'm Amy from Allentown, PA. I work at a non-profit science center where I am in charge of guest services as well as the gift shop. My part time job is at the Disney Store! I have a wonderful DBF who I met through here and I have been on the boards since June of 2006! Actually, I joined the boards the day I contacted my DBF through the Dis! I'm also and identical twin.

Been Dising since our first family trip in '01, I guess. Live a pretty boring life, but I count the seconds til our family Florida trip which has become an almost-annual thing. Don't always do Disney though....this year it's Daytona Beach and Universal!!!

I think being the mom of boys is just the greatest. Mine are 12 and 15 and even though they are T-R-O-U-B-L-E most of the time....I think I enjoy this age best of all.

Live in PA, Berks County, about 1.5 hrs from Philly, and I leave every chance I get!!!

I have two dogs Max, our senior citizen Shetland Sheep dog and Sophie, our hyper active half moose half yellow lab.
I go to college hoping to one day be a therapist, and work very part time at a convienence store making pizza.
Doug, my dh, mostly lays pipe and sometimes lays roads for an excavating co. We are both 37.

Hi! My nickname is breezy IRL. Buckeye through and through. I have a son 7 (ASD for those who can relate ) and daughter 4. DH and I are both mortgage brokers and have been for 14 years each. We looove to golf! I can't stand links courses, but he'll golf anywhere. If we could have only one vacation destination for the rest of our lives - Disney would be it. Love to cook. Never found a smiley I didn't like!

Hello. I'm Terri and I've been DIS'ing since September 2005. I found DIS by hunting for information on all Disney movies. Including all live action and made for TV films. I'm a Disney movie nut and have hundreds of them to prove it.

I usually spend most of my DIS time over on the VMK boards, but venture to the CB on occasion. Usually when I'm at work. When I'm home, I'm usually found playing around in the Virtual Magic Kingdom. Yep. A virtual version of our beloved parks. Complete with Main Street, a castle and our very own Partners statue. Unforunately, that seems to be coming to an end on May 21.

After that day, I might spend more time on the CB. I don't know yet. I'm a SF with no kids living in central Indiana and working full time as a data entry op. It's been years since I was at WDW and I miss it terribly. I've been dreaming of the day I can get back there, which is part of the reason why I log into VMK.

I also love musical movies and classic movies. Another thing I love is music. Mostly Trance, classical and Latin, along with popular music from the '30's through the early '90's.

Anyway, back to work for me, while surreptitiously reading the DIS.

My name is Sarah and I live in Scotland with my DH and 2 DDs age 11 and 9. I am a stay at home mum but also a puppywalker for the Guide Dogs for the blind association. I have been a DIS member since 2005 but have not been a big poster. I have started to get involved with exchanges which is fun and I'd like to post a bit more but am too shy to join in a lot of the time. I love reading the community threads and reading about other places.

I'm an active member on a British based board but like coming here too. We've benn to WDW twice and have another trip planned for summer 2010.

I'm Susan. I live in Illinois and work at one of our town's high school cafeteria. yes- a "lunch lady" only this week and next then I am off for the summer! I have two lovely DDs. (Stitchfansjr) Allison 13, and (Kermit271980) Debbie 27 and a great DH, John.
John is a truck driver, Allison will be attending high school at the same school I work at this fall, and oldest DD, Debbie is recently married this past June and moved to Oklahoma this past January.
We have three cats, Jasmine, Bambi and Missy. And one beta (fish) named Gill.

I live in Reno, NV and have for the past 15 years. Prior to that I am a N. California girl. I have been on this board for a couple of years now. I tend to hang with the parents discussing their teenager based threads as well as the Prom Drama Continues thread and just about anything that has to do with education or the lack there of.

I am an Acct. Mngr. & HR Specialist for a specialty construction company. I have been married to my dorky engineer DH now for almost 21 years.

We have 2 kids - DS is getting ready to graduate high school and will be leaving for college in August
DD is headed to 4th grade in the fall. She did not meet the minimum height requirement to accompany her brother to his college dorm and has to stay behind with us

We have 2 house cats(1 is really fat and the other looks like we starve him), 2 rats & 1 half feral cat who eats our food, sleeps on the sofa but won't let us touch him/her? Our lives are complete

My name is Kelly and I am a WDW addict. I found these boards back in 2001 when my DFi and I were planning our first trip. 7 years later I am married to him and we have a 2 year old little boy and the monsters in my siggie. We try to get to WDW 2 times a year.

We live just outside Reading, PA and I am a CPA for a public accounting firm. I actually work on the firm management side of things though (no client work ) so my hours aren't real crazy. I DIS in spurts, mainly depending on how busy I am at work. I mostly post on TV show threads since that is my other addiction. When I am at home I rarely sign on.

My name is Ben. I have been DIS-ing since march 2004. I am a document systems consultant - which means I help companies run their software to create their customer communications. Not to brag, but I helped create the statement for one of the national credit card companies.

I have been married to my wonderful DW since 1992 and we have made 12 trips to WDW. I also remember going as a kid back in 1972. No kids, but I consider myself a 12 year old in a 41 year old's body so I give DW more than enough to handle.

I enjoy gardening and golfing - although the former is taking up way too much time for the latter!!!! I may have to bring my clubs with me on my next trip so I can get some time on the range!!!

I usually hang out on the Transportation (I travel upwards of 15-20 weeks a year), Resorts and the Adults board. I will swing by the CB board and check out Slo's poll.

Kristi - congrats on the Lancers winning the championship (I spent 2.5 years on an assignment in Omaha)

Hi, I'm Sherry and I think I'm most known here for barely surviving a house fire, but losing my dd in the process. I now live in Missouri, remarried to my ex-husband and we are expecting a baby boy in June. DS is very excited to be getting a little brother, though he's a little afraid of being jealous of him. Of course we reassure him constantly about that.

I'm a sahm, love scrapbooking, shopping, writing, and Disney! I am sooo ready to go back!
