Ladies I need some help :goodvibes

I am wanting to create my own invitations :thumbsup2 but really have no clue on where to start with designs etc:confused3 . We re not having many people attend our wedding but i still would like to send invites out. I ve had a look in card shops at invitations that you can buy in packs but they re just not what i was hoping for. Most of them look like party invitations on flimsy paper :(

Please would any of you be willing to send me pics of your invitations so i can hopefully be inspired that way. I know in readings lots of pjs i ve seen lots of lovely invitation designs but trying to locate them all now is proving a little tricky:confused: .

Also did you make your invitations yourself or did you have them made for you?

Thankyou :cutie:

I made all 100 of mine by using cardsandpockets.com. It's time consuming but I only spent about $375 on all 100 - that's the pocket folds, matte, and the cardstock (which I got at a paper store). I printed them myself because I have an amazing color printer. Anyway, there's a ribbon that I glue gunned on the outside. I can give you more detail if you like the idea.

These are mine. All I had to do was add the flower and mickey crystals!

They are by Martha Stewart and called Cosmos.

It was 39.99 for a box of 48. It comes with the invitations, envelopes, reply cards and reply envelopes also instructions on how to print.

I am changing the font though. That was just an example card that came with the pack that I decorated...lol

I used cards & pockets too. I haven't quite fine-tuned the design, but this is where its at now.

The outside:
(I'll print the names that would otherwise go on the interior envelope on the white tag)

The inside:
(I haven't printed up the inserts yet, these are just basic designs I made, and the spacing on the actual invite needs to be worked on...but this is basically the invite)

It will go into a silver envelope which will be sealed with a wax seal that has a cursive letter 'J' (for his last name)
Like this, except on a silver envelope..

Beautiful stuff, ladies! I'm purchasing mine from mygatsby.com. Like Tracy, I'm purchasing about 100 and it'll cost me around $375-$400. I called a discounted invitation lady I know and she said she couldn't do better on the price. She said it was incredible for what I want and recommend I buy them on the website instead of from her.

Here's mine..... I ordered the pocketfolds from cards and pockets.com and the rest was DIY.
