Wasn’t there supposed to be some theme Park investor day where we were going to get WDW news. I thought it was today and yesterday.

There was, and there hasn't been news coming out of it. Its possible some sites either overstated or misunderstood what was expected from the event. The fact that people are waiting on the next major opening date to be announced (Guardians, still expected for late May) didn’t help.

Agree. This wasn't the type of event where Disney was going to announce lots of stuff. They save that for big medial events.
