Inventions Lunch Price.....?

Hi all! Bit mad to be doubting my restaurant plans the day before we go, but having another look at restaurant threads it appears Lucky Nugget has got more expensive since we were there last year and is now about 33euros a head plus drinks
We liked the Lucky Nugget but I'm not convinced it's worth that price. On Magicalkingdoms it says Inventions lunch is 35euros a head plus drinks - does anybody know if this is still accurate? We all know how hard it is to find up to date menu information
If it is right, would we be better off having our goodbye-DLP-lunch in Inventions on the Friday? We've never been there but everyone on here raves about it and the buffet looks spectacular. We want to finish off our trip with a nice character meal.

Thanks for the quick reply. Hmm it's the last day of our trip, so I suppose I should keep the Lucky Nugget booking for now, and I can go into the DLH and enquire about Inventions lunch when we get there.
How I wish Disney themselves had a comprehensive and up to date restaurant guide online, would that really be too much to ask?!

You are always so helpful can't resist replying even though I really need to get off this computer!!! Since we started going to DLRP we have always had our last lunch at Walts - Enjoy the parks for the rest of the afternoon then head to the DLH to catch the VEA from there - but always leave enough time for a cocktail (they serve lovely nibbles with your drinks too!) - before the bus arrives (we are usually catching the bus at 6.25) - and so far have always had lots of characters in the lounge area (including Minnie every year) before we have to leave! - mind you so far every year we have been there the parks close at 6 - so characters might not be there when you planning on leaving.

That's a good idea about a last cocktail in the DLH! We are getting the Eurostar at 7.30ish so maybe we could do this
I get too caught up in restaurant planning I think, but meals are a very important part of our trip
We are eating in Walts on Monday, first time there, can't wait!
Spoke to my mum about it and after rolling her eyes at me going on about restaurants again, she says we should just look into the options once we're there. Captain sensible...

I'm sure someone posted recently about there being a new Sunday Brunch with characters but I'm sure there's still not any at lunch on the other days.

Found a recent trip advisor review where they had lunch at Inventions at 2.45pm for 35 euro each but didn't mention any characters at the meal, but saw the little show in the lobby on the way out.
What do you all think, 33 euros for Lucky Nugget character lunch or 35 euros for lunch at Inventions with no characters....? I'm leaning towards Inventions myself but will need to maybe take a vote once we have a nosey about *still can't believe that we'll be there in a day and a half*

We used to love the Lucky Nugget (nice food and great character interaction) but it's been a few years since we last ate there and the reviews don't seem so good these days. The food at dinner at Inventions is lovely so I imagine the lunch will be too ~ so guess it all depends on how important the characters are?

Walts
Annettes
Steakhouse
Blue Lagoon

The meal in question is lunch on the very last day, so we have the rest of the trip to decide! I can't sleep though, so excited about leaving tomorrow, and nothing else to plan except that
Thanks for your help We liked Lucky Nugget last year but it was mainly because we had great character interaction and loved the atmosphere with the band etc, the food was just OK. It's a lot of money for 3 people if the food isn't great. Hmm.

Well, in that case you already have a character meal at Cafe Mickey and seeing as you went to the Lucky Nugget last year if I were you I'd go to Inventions ~ I think it will be a lovely ending to your holiday.
