Good morning!

I wanted to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Tricia, and I own Sunshine Rewards. I have been reading through all of your rewards program postings and find them really interesting. I hope that I can contribute to the forum by answering your questions.

As I am sure you can tell, I am a huge Disney fan. That's actually part of why I started Sunshine. I wanted to be able to pay Disney fans back in Disney Dollars because that is what I myself like to earn online! I remember during the early, EARLY days of Mypoints when I saved up to earn Rainforest Cafe gift cards to use on our trips. I was a rewards program junkie then and still am to some extent.

I look forward to getting to know you all better!

We used to get Rainforest cards for Disney from Mypoints too. Now that we use the dining plan and because we drive, we get gas cards.

That's a really great idea! Is there a thread or sticky anywhere with a running list of all of the ways that you can use the various rewards programs payouts for Disney trips? I've seen some posts about webcertificates and how people might use those. Then add DD, gas cards, Rainforest cards... I'm guessing that other people have some creative ways as well?

I'm not sure how to do a click for DIS'ers only, but I am quite certain that we can figure something out. At the very least, I can put up some kind of link or offer with a clue that I will only post here. I have really appreciated all of the threads that I have been reading today with constructive feedback about the different rewards programs. It's in my best interest to make the site one that people will want to use. So I like knowing what I need to do to get it there.

Welcome!! I just joined you site yesterday and I am in LOVE!!! I am already at $15 by buying things I was going to get anyways!! The Disney $$ from your site will be how we pay for the Food and Wine Festival food and drinks in October.

To be honest, I thought that it wasn't going to ever come, but it came in the mail on Saturday! Wow, now I can buy 2 1/2 gallons of gas!

Keep up the excellent work. Your site is designed well, easy to navigate. I love how the offers/contests has been updated to be able to remove offers!

Some other great rewards would be any off-site restaurants near the parks. I usually try to get some Olive Garden gc because my son loves their salad.

We tend to stay on property mostly when we are in WDW, so we don't usually have a car. If someone can tell me the restaurants close by that take gift cards, I will be happy to look into getting them. I know right now we have Darden (which has Olive Garden, Red Lobster, etc) and Landry's (which has about 10 different restaurants). I think I also have one that has Maggianos and a few other similar restaurants. Would it help to even have something a little bit cheaper like McDonalds cards or something like that?

I would be happy to! I had the lead in a musical when I was in high school--it was called Into the Woods. I sang a song called "On the Steps of the Palace." I totally fell in love with the character and have been ever since.
