Introducing of my four-legged babies

With the help of Mr.J.Cricket on the techincal board, I finally added a picture to my signature. Her name is Dori aka piglet. She tends to grunt like a pig when she is happy or when you pick her up. She is a longhaired dapple dachshund. I will periodically replace the pictures with pictures of our other babies.

Awww... we had dachshounds when I was growing up. Both were red haired miniatures. One was named Sir Robin hood of Sherwood Forest (but we called him Robin) and the other was named Sasha!

My first and only dog was a dachshund we called Peppy. I had him from the age of 8 till 21.... When he died I suffered so badly I never had another dog, I loved him like he was my child!

Adore her, dachshunds are the most loyal and wonderful animals!

Yes, dapple does refer to her coloring. She is the only dapple that we have. The rest are either black and tan or red. But, they are all longhairs.
