Introducing myself

Hello,

I just wanted to take a moment and introduce myself. My DP passed away just over a month ago and, just for today, I'm facing the trips we had planned solo. Not what I want to be doing but he made it clear that I should go. I've come across some stories on the fan sites about my situation but I'm wondering if anyone here has had to deal with it.

I have not suffered the same type of loss that you have gone through, but I extend my sympathies. Please let us know when you have future trips planned. I know that this will not make up for your loss, but we can join you on your new adventures.

Welcome Bob! I am originally from Ft. Lauderdale. I moved to GA in 1996 but still visit a lot since my mom still lives in Hollywood. I am very sorry for your loss.
There is a ton of great information here. I went on my first solo trip last May and plan on going again for a 3 day weekend in Jan. or March.
