**Introduce yourself!!!**

Hi Sammy . Mum, Jackie, Elaine and Reid welcome to DLP DIS board :wave2:

We are a friendly bunch here so please join in on any other thread or if you have a number of questions then just start a new thread for each :goodvibes

If you have not had a look yet, DLP posting rules are here, DIS posting guidelines can be found here.

You probably know this in your sleep but it is only right that you get the official DLP welcome.

Guess us adults better behave now that the offspring are coming on to check up on us :lmao: ;)

It will be good to get your perspective on all things Disney. I suspect we may find you on the Teens board too :thumbsup2

Hello - My name is Tawnya & my DD is Mishayla. We are huge Disney fans & have been to WDW several times. We are headed as a whole family in December. When Mishayla was 10yo, I promised her I'd take her to DLP when she turned 16 yo. She'll be 15 this March. So, we are planning on going in October of 2010. Daddy will be staying home w/ her two brothers (currently 3yo & 9 wks). Neither of us have ever been to Paris & are so excited to experience it together. She's in her 2nd year of French lessons & will continue w/ it until graduation. I'm very excited to get to know all of you & learn from your vast amounts of knowledge.

Hi Everyone! :flower3:

I'm Sammy and I'm 16 and live in the UK and am a student at art college. I've just joined the DIS but my Mum is Ware Bears on here so I already know a lot about the world of the DISboards.

Welcome. Nice to see you keeping an eye on Mummy too :thumbsup2

Love the signature by the way :goodvibes

Hi, I'm Julie and just love all things Disney!

I'm married to John and together we have completely brainwashed our 3 kids Mark 14, Abbey 11 and Lewis 4 - our new reason to keep on visiting dlrp!

I work in customer services as a coach for complaint advisors.......least said about that the better. I'm hoping for a career change and plan to be Belle in the parade at dlrp.......keep wishing!

We first visited dlrp when Mark and Abbey were 4 and 1. They both had their birthdays there which was fantastic.

We've been 4 times as a family and Mark and Abbey have both been separately with the school and friends.

Booked again for June and I am so excited. I just love the whole Disney feeling and with my youngest now thinking he is Peter Pan, it's going to be even better. He's just a the perfect age, and probably knows every disney story out there, as I read the Grolier books to him every night!

I'll post some pictures after my next visit, our pc is on the blink, and if i can't fix it tomorrow, i'll be chucking it out the nearest window.....Using my son's laptop just now, and being urged to hurry up!

Thanks for this forum - i'll need to give up work now as am completely addicted - can't beleive i've never come accross this before!

Bye for now :rotfl:

Hi Jay and Julie :wave2: We are so glad you found us :)

Sounds like you are as daft about DLP as the rest of us ;)

Hi I'm Alice, I'm 30 in a few weeks :( DS is 4.5. We're going to DLRP for the first time in September, I can't wait. I have already read some great tips on this forum, looking forward to reading more. I will probably have a few questions too!!

Hi

I'm Ruth, we're a family of 4 - myself, hubby and two children - Ben 10 yrs and Hollie 6 yrs and we're all completely and utterley Disney mad.

We've had 5 trips - so far:rotfl2:to Paris, the most recent returning late last night. So we're all pretty sad and wishing we were back there already!

I normally just 'lurk' and read your posts but thought it was about time I joined in so I can keep my Disney 'fix' going for a little longer :rotfl:

Look forward to 'meeting' you all:cheer2:

I posted this on the main board but wanted to say hello here also !

There is Mama bear , Dada bear and harry aged 5. We just love Disney so much, Harry is a huge Peter fan.

We have visited two times in December and loved it , so are very excited !
(And mama is very excited to not have to pack so many heavy winter clothes! )

Also, I read a lovely thread about magical things to do for the little ones while there, here is ours.

The first and second time we were there, a character would magically appear in our little mans stroller after his fav ride ! Dumbo flew down the first year and the following it was Peter Pan.

That was two years ago and we no longer need a stroller. The other morning, I was making a list of things we will need, and little man just looked at me with tears in his eyes and said how will the magic happen this year ?

So we have come up with a few ideas !!

Thanks again for all the helpful tips to read !

Hello all, I thought it was about time I introduced myself.

I am Kerry, 37 and I am married to Chris (also 37) and have just celebrated our 14th Wedding Anniversary
We have 4 children, Joseph :cool2:(8), Dominic :wizard:(6), Rebecca princess:(2) and Adam pirate:(11 months).

We have been to WDW in Apr 05, and to DLRP in May 06 and Nov 07 both times staying at the Vienna Dream Castle hotel which was fab.

We are going back in November this year, staying at the Davy Crocket (now we are a family of 6) and can't wait. My daughter absolutely loves the playhouse disney channel (Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and Little Einstiens being her faves) and I hear there is a new stage show with characters from it, I know she will just love it.

love Kerry xx
