Introduce your new pet here (or just come by to show us your other pets!)

Your picture of "Weiner" made be think of a local cafe/coffee house. The owner is a very sweet guy that had an adorable dachshund for many years. He renamed the restaurant the "Red Weiner Cantina" when she passed.

That's such a sweet story! I'll have to tell my 12 year old son about it - he'll love the story (and the name!)

Here is my little guy Thor. We got him in October of 2013 when he was 9 weeks old.

After a month or so we noticed he had a growth on his eye. We took him to our hometown vet and had him on various medicines/antibiotics but nothing helped. Then we went to Disney World for two weeks and then had all the hoopla from Christmas. He had an appointment to be neutered in early January and my vet was going to remove the growth while he was already under. In the meantime it kept growing and growing. Our vet was not comfortable with removing it once he had him under so he referred us to a specialist. After two biopsies and two unrelated surgeries (he sliced open his leg - twice!) the day finally came to have it removed.

Here he is the day of surgery:

Here he is right after surgery:

And here he is two weeks after surgery:

I am so, so happy with the results! He has such a wonderful personality and is so loving. He has been through so much in his short life.

:lmao: Oh Ivan with your lip curled up like that and the look on your face I immediately heard this in my head :

Hello, I'm Mister Ed

A horse is a horse, of course of course,
and no one can talk to a horse of course,
that is of course, unless the horse,
Is the famous Mister Ed!

Go right to the source and ask the horse.
He'll give you the answer that you'll endorse.
He's always on a steady course.
Talk to Mister Ed.

People yak-it-ti-yak a streak
and waste your time of day,
but Mister Ed will never speak,
unless he has something to say...

A horse is a horse, of course of course,
And this one will talk 'til his voice is hoarse.
You never heard of a talking horse?
Well, listen to this...

I am Mister Ed

I have finally gotten around to playing around with some pics and updating my signature, etc.

Our two hamsters are new, Carl and Ellie. (Long story there. The brown one was Russell, then Ellie, and probably should be Russell again, but we're used to calling him Ellie now so that's probably what he'll be known as even though we finally figured out he really IS a guy. :rotfl: )

And our puppy is about six months old now. He's changed a lot since we got him! I am still trying to figure out the whole "terrier" thing. :scared:

Our old girl is still hanging in there. She likes the pup. (But if he inadvertently bites her wart, all bets are off! :rotfl2: )

This is Rosie. She was adopted by our police chief's secretary. Rosie was found wandering the streets. The vet found a microchip in her and the previous owner was notified but never came to get her. The vet said she is 5 years old. That was back in July of last year. The Chief told Jackie she could bring Rosie to work with her so she comes to work every day! Rosie is quite the popular one at work. She gets lots of visitors from all over the city building (and a lot of treats!) She is our good will ambassador!:)
