Intrest Paid on DVC Tax Dedcutible

Hey All-

I'm new to DVC and my husband and I are wondering if the interest on your DVC is tax deductible. I don't think it is, but my husbands swears he was told it was.

Any help out there would be greatly appreciated!

Depending on your tax situation, you may be able to deduct the property tax portion of the annual dues.

If you finance thru DVC, you may be able to deduct the mortgage interest paid.

Subject to other rules and to itemizing, RE taxes are deductible. A second home interest may be deductible (not 3) if it's done as a mortgage. Check with your advisor on your situation.
