Intimate Wedding question

Does the required 4 night stay have to be ON your wedding day? Could we stay there a few nights before the wedding day or as a "honeymoon"

The four nights I used were the four leading up to my wedding night. We techniquly checked out that morning. We changed hotels that day, but those ressies weren't attached to the intimate. But I think you have to be on Disney property the day of your wedding either there, or checking in or out.
