My fiance and I are hopefully heading back to Disney in Feb and I was thinking we could get married while we are there. It would just be the two of us at the ceremony. How much does the add on cost and would it be worth the expense for just the two of us? I'm thinking its the same price for no guests as it is for up to 8 guests and to me that might be a bit to much to spend if no one else will be enjoying it - ie we don't really need a reception. I know I should probably just call disney but I'd like to get some info here first. Thanks for all your help.

I'll be interested to hear about this too, since we want to do exactly the same thing, but for a vow renewal. :)

I am doing an add on as well and the price is 2300.00. I think this is a pretty good price. You get all the stuff that comes with the regular wedding and I think it would be great for someone without guests. Many people get married by themselves with this package.

We are doing an intimate wedding add-on in December and are having the wedding pavillion as our venue (i think this is classed as the premium intimate wedding) which is $3,100 basic, the $2,300 is a deluxe intimate wedding (i think this is how it goes) which means you can have places like the Poly and Wilderness Lodge as your venues.

Hope this helps.

I am suprising my wife with a 10 yr. Anniversary Vow Renewal at Seabreeze Point. The cost is $2300 as ilove said. And for what you get with it (all be it more than I wanted), you can't beat it. Just got off the phone with Victoria (coordinator) finalizing things.

Can someone explain exactly what is included in the $2300? As far as I can tell, all it includes is the ceremony, cake and champagne at one of the wedding locations. Surely there is more included for that price!

Aren't we guys who've been married 10 years so romantic. :teeth: :teeth:

Hey, cobra..when will she find out about the surprise?

i believe the $2300 includes the location, cake, champagne, bride and groom flowers, solo musician, 2 hours of photography (with 12 prints) and... that is all i can remember.

Cobra,

We had Victoria as our coordinator for our VR in May. She was terrific! If you speak to her, tell her Janis and Ron said 'Hi"!

Alright Pete! And here I thought I would be abused for letting my secret out.

I am not telling her until the night before. We will be in Vero and in the morning it's off to Big D for the ceremony and a long weekend with the mouse.

While I agree with some of you that this is a little steep in price, I also want the best. And even though it will be over quickly, it will be worth it. Hey you don't get your wedding date everyday you know. And a lot of people don't get to 10 yrs. That's reason to celebrate.

Pete is right about all of the things you get for the $2300. I always wished we did the wedding there. This is almost as good. And in some ways it will be even better.

You also get four hours limosine, which you don't have to use for your wedding, you can use it for a night on the town, airport charter, etc.
We are doing the $2300 add-on also at SBP. We will have two extra guests at $100 each, and are buying two more bottles of champagne, a bottle of sparkling cider (for my nieces) and getting cheese and fruit trays catered by Boardwalk. We are then moving to dinner at CG.

My plans so far call for either the night before or the not until we drive up to the WP. We will have been there for almost a week by this point. I've already told her an excuse as to why she has to be all dressed up for the "event" so i'm not sure if i want her to be anxious the night before or if i want to see her shock when we get to the GF. (as well as the shock of our family memebers who will be there...still trying to convince her mom to come and have been trying to stress how much she wouldn't want to miss it without giving anything away to her or anyone else!)

I agree also. I think some of the other wedding locations would be great but whenever we pass the WP on the monorail we always talk about it and i know that is what she thinks of when she thinks "disney wedding".
